It seems to me the older I get the more vivid and poignant my memories of childhood have become, these formative years are having a significant influence on my paintings, combining elements of nostalgia and fantasy.

Looking back with innocence and wonder the winters seemed colder, the snow was deeper, the excitement was greater and Christmas was the most magical of times.
